POSITION: Team Leader (Full Time)

BACKGROUND: Team Leaders serve as SEARCH supervisors by providing direct skill acquisition and behavior reduction programming for assigned learners, conducting ongoing staff training and development to assigned Instructors/Data Analysts, and working with the Clinical Leadership Team to execute the company’s mission.

REQUIREMENTS: All Team Leaders are required to be Board Certified Behavior Analysts as recognized by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board®, and meet the 2015 Standards for Supervision Requirements to supervise BCBAs, BCaBAs, and RBTs.

RESPONSIBILITIES: The following responsibilities will be completed under the supervision of SEARCH’s Directors.

  • Clinical Programming
    • Oversee individualized clinical programming for assigned learners (e.g., developing teaching procedures and data collection systems) with instructor/data analysts
    • Oversee progress reporting for all assigned learners
    • Implement and summarize assessments (e.g., FBAs)
    • Develop individualized goals and objectives for assigned learners
    • Write individualized instructional and behavior reduction programs
    • Collaborate with SEARCH’s Directors on other areas of clinical programming (e.g. assisting with SITE Plan creation)
  • Staff Management, Training, & Supervision
    • Manage updates to skill acquisition and behavior reduction programming
    • Manage assigned Instructor/Data Analysts on completion of daily and weekly responsibilities
    • Provide programming direction to clinicians via direct supervision (in-session, parent training, home programming)
    • Provide BCBA, BCaBA, and RBT supervision to candidates within the organization (e.g., during supervision and BACB group)
    • Conduct a staff training session minimally one time per academic year
    • Run weekly meeting with assigned Instructor/Data Analysts to facilitate clinical programming and curriculum design
    • Conduct triannual staff evaluations with oversight from Directors
  • Systems and Center Management
    • Complete treatment plans to support insurance authorizations
    • Participate in face-to-face and working interviews
    • Coordinate with learners’ sending districts (e.g., schedule IEP meetings)
    • Provide a written present level of academic achievement and functional performance (PLAAFP) for each assigned learner
    • Collaborate with all members of the Clinical Leadership Team (CLT) to develop and implement projects aligned with the company mission and vision
  • Parent Involvement
    • Oversee triannual parent observations
    • Supervise weekly parent training sessions and monthly home visits
    • Run triannual clinic meetings in collaboration with company Directors
    • Communicate with parents and caregivers to ensure ongoing and effective communication and collaboration

Compensation Package

  • Starting salary: Mid $50K (commensurate with experience)

    • Monday-Friday 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
    • Home visits will take place after 2:30 p.m. two hours per month per assigned learner
